Coach

Joe Williford is in his third year as an assistant coach for the Mount Saint Mary soccer team. he has coached both boys and girls soccer for a total of about 29 seasons. In addition to being assistant on the Mount's state championship team in 1997, he has coached five other state championship teams, including the very first state championship for girls.

He is a native of Little Rock and received a B. A. from Hendrix College and a masters of Science in Analytical Chemistry from the University of Texas at El Paso. He works for the Arkansas Department of Pollution Control and Ecology in the field of water pollution control.
